I love seeing your view from the inside, @Rita McGrath, and what it means to not have the incentive to focus on the bridge to practice. As a practitioner now trying to build bridges *into* academia with my research and work, we—all of us—need rigorous outlets for practioner-led and scholar-led ideas to co-exist.

It saddens me that MIT Sloan appears to be abdicating its claim to that space. As I asked in my own post on this subject, "What happens when academia can’t or won’t make the case for its critical role in the origination of ideas that make it to market?"
