"Productive friction" is the concept I'll be thinking about for a while.

We've been selling AI as relief - less effort, faster output. Vivienne Ming's inversion is the more honest pitch: use it to make the work harder in the ways that make you better.

The cyborg framing maps directly to what I see with leadership teams. The 5% who treat AI as a genuine sparring partner rather than an answer machine, that's not a technology difference. That's a human capital difference.

Which means it's a leadership development problem.
